PAUL BARRINGER

Paul Barringer is a Democratic candidate for Congress in North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District, a competitive seat covering communities across the Triangle and central North Carolina. An attorney, health care policy expert, and tree farmer, Barringer has spent much of his career working with state governments to improve Medicaid and other health and human services programs while also providing pro bono legal assistance to individuals seeking Social Security disability benefits. A husband, father, and lifelong North Carolinian who lives on his family’s farm in Lee County, Barringer is running on a platform centered on pragmatic problem-solving, strengthening health care access, supporting working families, protecting constitutional principles, and restoring trust in government.
