I am completing my fourth non-consecutive term in the Maine House of Representatives. I have served on the Health and Human Services committee, the Veterans and Legal Affairs and State and Local Government Committees. I am the founder and chair of the Common Ground Caucus. I am a retired pediatric nurse practitioner (MS Yale 1986; Boston College, 1981) Recent honors include Maine Public Health Association Public Health Policy Champion 2026 and Maine Academy of Pediatrics Legislator of the Year 2025
