DON DAVIS

Don Davis is a Democratic congressman representing North Carolina’s 1st Congressional District, a largely rural region in eastern North Carolina. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, educator, minister, and former mayor of Snow Hill, Davis has spent more than two decades in public service, including 12 years in the North Carolina State Senate before being elected to Congress in 2022. Known for his pragmatic and bipartisan approach, he focuses on strengthening rural communities, supporting agriculture, expanding economic opportunity, improving infrastructure, and advocating for veterans and military families. In Congress, Davis serves on the House Agriculture and Armed Services Committees, where he works on issues critical to eastern North Carolina and the nation’s defense.
